Fields: Web Services
Web Services lets you set up connections to Horizon and Symphony web calls that allow Portfolio to exchange information with those ILSes. After you define a Web Service in Web Services, you can select it as an authorization service in Security or as a real-time service for a search site.

Web Services list
Lists the Web Service connections that have been assigned for your system. The list includes these columns:
Option | Description |
---|---|
Name |
Displays the name of the web service. |
Code |
Displays the code for the web service. |
URL |
Displays the Universal Resource Locator where the web service is located. |
Management options
Lets you manage web service definitions by adding, editing, or deleting them.
You can choose from these options:

Add Web Service |
Lets you create a new web service. For more information, see Adding or editing a web service definition. |
Edit
|
Lets you change the definition for a specific web service. For more information, see Adding or editing a web service definition. |
Delete
|
Lets you remove the web service definition from the list. For more information, see Deleting a web service. |
